“When Heaven Responds”
Text: Acts 2:1–13
When God’s people seek Him with surrendered hearts, He responds with His presence and power.
I. God Responded to Hungry Hearts
Pentecost happened in a room full of people who wanted God more than comfort.
II. Heaven Interrupted the Room
· Don’t settle for dead religion
· Don’t settle for routine spirituality
· Seek genuine encounters with God
III. The Spirit Filled Ordinary People
God does not fill perfect people—He fills surrendered people.
IV. Pentecost Produced Boldness
The Holy Spirit empowers ordinary believers to live extraordinary lives for Jesus.
V. Pentecost Was About Mission
God fills us not just for our benefit—but for His mission.
VI. The Church Was Born in God’s Presence
The greatest need of the Church is still the presence of God.
