Praying in Unity

Sermon Series:

Teach Us to Pray – Week 4

“Praying in Unity”

Text: Acts 1:12–14

Something powerful happens when the Church cries out together.

I. They Gathered Before They Received

II. They Stayed Together

III. They Were Constantly in Prayer

IV. Prayer Prepared Them for Power

V. The Church was Born in a Prayer Meeting

Just as the church was born in a prayer meeting, I believe that this church could be reborn if we will pray together. If we will seek the presence of God to fill this place and guide us as we seek to minister to those in our community, and wherever we go. I believe that we can truly be a people on mission together, making Christlike disciples who make disciples, I believe that this church could be revitalized, and multiply if we will commit right now in these closing moments to be a people who pray together, not just corporately, but desperately as we talked about two weeks ago.
